Hale Farewell BBQ
My cousin Rob and his wife Mercedi have been living here for the last 4 yrs while Rob was going to dental school. Mannix is just a few months younger than Carson and it has been so fun having them here, we miss them already.
Cute little Mannix
This is Becky's fiance, Scott, helping out Carson. Yea Becky!!!
Carson's eyes haven't really been a color for awhile now. Especially, since he is wearing grey do they look really grey but they have tons of specks of green so I think that is what they will end up being just like his daddy.
I have no idea what he is laughing at but he sure thought it was funny. It was such a beautiful night and he loves to be outside to run around. Seeing how Chyler is always working, I go everywhere alone which makes having conversations rather hard when I am always chasing Carson around. At one point, my nephew Jackson helped watch Carson and it was so great to be able to sit and chat.
Yummy Yogurt
So Carson has been eating finger food since he could eat like every other baby but this is one of the first times I gave him yogurt to eat by himself. As you can see, he LOVED it and felt mighty proud of himself by the end. I just don't know how much actually made it into his mouth. At one point he was trying to scoop the yogurt back into the cup and I just sat back and cracked up at him. I love this little guy!!!

Top of the Morning to You
I have been meaning to get this picture for about 8 months now. I have this old stuffed lion that had this safari hat on but Chyler thought it looked stupid so he cut the hat off. Since then, Carson has loved playing with just the hat and it looks so silly on his big head that I had to finally get a picture of it.
Tyler's All Grown Up
Tyler is the second oldest grandchild and he just graduated from High School so we went up to St. George for the festivities.
Patrick always says that Carson looks like my dad and from this angle, he totally does with their matching balds heads!!! Can you believe Carson is just chillin' on Grandpa's lap, at least he was until he saw me go down the stairs to take the next picture.
Our little boy is all grown up
The proud parents and Tyler's classic look
He was throwing a fit so my dad had to take him out. I think this is that last picture with his binkie. Surprisingly, it wasn't hard to take it away at all, one day I just did. Occasionally he will find one around the house and get all excited but then it disappears as soon as he puts it down and he doesn't think twice about it.
Travis always holds him up like this and loves it when he walks all over his face, weird kid!

Just Hanging at Home
Not a whole lot happened for the month after Easter in Cali so here are just pictures of Carson's antics around the house.
Carson LOVES climbing into things even into little boxes like this
He is not one to fall asleep just anywhere so when I turned around and saw that he was sleeping, I was shocked.
P.S. For those of you who don't know, this fly swatter is one of his favorite toys. And no, it has never been used for its purpose, from the second I picked it up at the store it has been his. You should have seen the dirty look he gave the cashier when she took it to ring it up. Best $1.68 I have ever spent.
Carson wanting to play with my camera. And yes, I do have clothes for him, he just likes to be naked so I figure, why bother with laundry which is why you will see so many pictures of him in his diaper
One night it was really nice out so we walked across the street to the park to run around. Carson is throwing down rocks and laughing at himself here.
The grass was really tall and he fell down a lot but wouldn't want to touch the grass to get up so he is trying to figure out what to do
You would think that since he is SOOOOO attached to me most the time, that would be the case when we are outside but no, once outside, he just wants to run away from me and do his own thing. So I pretty much just follow him around while he explores and hits himself in the head with plants. That's my boy.

Easter in California
Carson and I went down to my parents house for Easter weekend because my niece was blessed on Easter Sunday. I hitched a ride with Alan and Kiersten and the two babies, and the rest of us, had a great time together.
Cute sleeping babies
My dad got a bounce house for the kids and Carson took a while to get his bearing but after that he thought it was way fun
Of course we had to have the Easter egg hunt and it did not take Carson long to figure out that there was CANDY in the eggs. He really got into it and then it was almost impossible to take the candy away and once I did, he just stole it from Bri. He still plays with the eggs and I think he still hopes there is candy every time he opens one.
The classic cousin bath pictures
We went to the beach and Carson LOVED it. He loved the sand, the water, he even didn't mind showering naked in public. Bri on the other hand took one step in the sand and clung to her parents ever after. I really wanted to get back there this summer with Chyler but doesn't look like that will happen.

This was the first time that Carson has enjoyed the swings.
