Babies can sleep anywhere

I was getting in the shower one morning and the boys looked so cute sitting on the bed together that I decided to snap a couple pictures.

And this is what I found when I got out of the shower. Notice his head is even on a toy. Why is it that babies can fall asleep in awkward positions like this at the drop of a hat but when you want them to fall asleep, like at church, they refuse to give in?

Kade had been working really hard to sit up before he reached 5 months but most the time he just falls over or leans forward like this picture below. And he had just started rolling over but I don't know how many times were on purpose.

The Summer Boutique

I had another boutique in July and it was fun but I think I'm over them now. I had some drama with a couple of my vendors which I was not a fan of.

Jodi and I made these, they are reversible so you don't have to put them away.

How many washes....

How many washes does it take to get half a tub of pomade out of your two year old's hair??? You don't know...well neither do I because I lost count after 13 times. Carson loves to climb up on my counter and brush his teeth and that is what I thought he was doing when I was nursing the baby and putting him to bed. But this was the mess I found when I went to check on him. Half my tub on pomade was in his hair, all over his hands, and all over the sink and faucet handles. I tried scraping as much of it off before I even put him in the tub and that is when I took this picture so this isn't even the half of it. And after the endless washes with his shampoo and later mine, I had it all over the bath tub as well. As you can see in this picture, he knows he is in trouble.

4th of July

This was July 1st but I want wanted to show that Kade finally reached his toes.

Around 9pm we drove up to a spot where you can see the whole valley so we could watch the fireworks.

Kade slept the whole time. But he is wearing the same outfit that Carson wore on the 4th 2 years ago.

Kade's Four Month Pictures

Kade is getting so big. At his four month appointment he was still really tall in the 92nd percentile but he dropped from the 83rd to the 73rd percentile in weight. I don't remember what his weight was cause they forgot to give me the printouts but I'll fill you in after his six month appointment.

Here he is too busy looking at Carson to concentrate on sitting up which is why he is falling over. My baby boy loves to smile.

And suck his thumb. He must be tired here.

Utah for Ryder's Blessing

My newest little nephew was blessed on June 19th in Salt Lake so my parents picked up Jodi and I on their way up and we made the quick trip. Meaning we went up on Friday and came home on Saturday since Sunday was Father's Day. It was tons of driving for two days but I'm so glad we went up since we missed Brilynn's blessing.

Presley does this cheese face now and it was cracking us up on the way up. Carson got some chips when we stopped for lunch and he was being so nice to share them with Presley but then Jodi freaked out because they were messy. Poor Presley isn't allowed to get dirty. We all went swimming Friday night at the hotel. I love the sun but sometimes it's really nice not having to worry about the boys getting sunburned.
