November

Here are the happenings for November.
Here is Carson wearing Kade's teddy bear sweater. And he still looks adorable in it. On our way to Jason's Cash for Candy event, we went out to lunch. Carson had fallen asleep on the way so he was pretty out of it during lunch which was fantastic since he is known to be a monster at restaurants. The night before this, Britney's friends met at our house before going out and as they were leaving, Carson chased them outside. He was running around and tripped and fell down on his chest then bounced forward onto his face. The poor little guy was in so much pain. He still has pink marks on his face so I really hope they go away.
Kade is busy blowing raspberries and playing with his feet here.
Usually when I bust out the camera, Carson starts acting weird and won't take pictures, which is why most the pictures are of Kade.
Kade loves holding onto his car seat like this, it drives him crazy when the visor is up and he can't do it. This week at Costco he was trying to reach over Carson's half of the two-seated cart so he could hold on with both hands like this and was so upset that he couldn't reach.
I was working like crazy making crafts to sell at a craft show and Kade was really enjoying helping me. He loved holding onto the strings and throwing them around.
Here is the Christmas sign I made, I was really happy with the way it turned out.
My pumpkin patch
Right outside my bedroom door it echos over the balcony. Both boys have loved doing it once they figured it out. See video below.
This is a dishwasher box Chyler brought home from work to make a house for the boys. I want to make it a little cottage to go with his castle I made him for Christmas.
I love this picture because we were in my bathroom and Carson wanted me to try on a little pink hat of mine that I had put on Presley one day. After trying it on, he thought we should take a picture and he went and found the camera to take the picture. I love this kid.
This is the only picture I got from Thanksgiving day. The boys looked so cute but I forgot to get pictures of them.
This is the super cute outfit that the Kaufmans gave me when Kade was born. It is from Gymboree which I don't really shop at but they are by far my favorite pair of jeans I have ever had for either boy. They fit their waist but are super long, I love them.
Not happy about the hat and that I'm not holding him.
Carson wearing his new hat/bucket.
My tired baby boy fell asleep in front of the TV.
This Christmas was amazing in so many ways. But one of my favorite things about this year was that it was the first year since we've been married that we have had a tree. Chyler hates Christmas decorations, especially trees, but he was the one who suggested we put the tree the day after Thanksgiving. Every time I came down stairs and saw the tree, I was so happy. Carson loved helping me decorate it and he plugged it in almost every morning.
I finally got to bust out the tree decorations I bought when I was pregnant with Carson.

Once again, I forgot that I can't record sideways. You would think I would figure it out one of these days.

The Farm

Just down the street from us, we have a farm and an orchard. Jodi and I got some great pictures of the kids.
Kade sure adores his big brother. These are the sweaters I totally shoplifted from H&M, I stuck them on my stroller while we were walking around then I walked out of the store and down about 10 stores before I realized what I had done. Don't worry, I went back and paid for them.
So CUTE!!
Of course I had to get one of Carson running away.
Presley posing for the camera in her new outfit.

Halloween 2010

Halloween is so fun and I love dressing up the boys before they start wanting their own costumes. I borrowed both their costumes which is so nice. Carson was a pirate and Kade was a monster. Also, for the last two years we have gone to Jodi's church party before mine so I have been able to test out the costume.
The eye patch was too big and it hurt his cheek so this is the only picture I got with him wearing it. And everyone thought he was a little girl so I had to do the mustache the 2nd night.
Cute little Minnie Mouse. We had to leave the party because Britney got her mission call.
This is at my Stake trunk or treating. I was much happier with Carson's outfit the second time around. And Presley's grandma made this super cute witch costume that I can't wait to borrow when I have a baby girl.
My friend's little boy, Brad, wore our scarecrow outfit that Carson wore last year and Kade wore Brad's monster costume.

Pumpkin Patch--Visit Two

I wanted to visit the pumpkin patch again with Chyler and when it was cooler to get some pictures. So we went for Family Home Evening then went to dinner afterwards.
You can tell how excited Kade is to go!!
I love getting real smiles from Carson, especially since it happens so rarely.
Crash landing.

October

I had a Relief Society birthday party at my house for the October birthdays. It was a small group but it was really fun and the food was great. Kade hanging out on the floor waiting for Carson and I to finish eating.
Why he finds it necessary to put his food on his head, I don't know.
The harvest pumpkins I made.
I babysat some kids for a couple days and Carson had a ball following Trinity around.

They sat on the stairs and read forever.

Pumpkin Patch--Visit One

I love October. I love the fall colors, the cooler weather (when we have it), Halloween and I love going to pumpkin patches. The first time we went, it was with Jodi's play group. We all dressed in jeans since I thought it was a crime to wear shorts to a pumpkin patch but that was a total mistake since and it was 80 degrees outside and we were dying in jeans.
I hate buying jeans for Carson because I have to buy them big to get them long enough but then they are huge around his waist. Before this picture, Carson was sitting at the top of the slide and kids were going down around him. When he finally started down, I realized his pants were down around his knees. Good thing he was having too much fun to be embarrassed. This kid is getting so big.
The petting zoo was next and Carson got in trouble for chasing the animals.
Kade was so good in the stroller.
Notice their red cheeks from the heat.
